National Night Out taking place Aug. 3

La Vergne's annual National Night Out, slated from 6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3 will offer fun and more for residents of La Vergne. The event will take place at Veteran's Memorial Park, 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive in La Vergne and is free.

The annual National Night Out Against Crime will take place from 6—9 p.m. on Aug. 3 at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Residents are encouraged to take part in this visual stand against crime.

La Vergne Police picked up a sex offender, wanted by Hickman County, Tuesday afternoon.

La Vergne Police have arrested two individuals on six charges of theft over $1000 after the two apparently defrauded the St. Thomas Heart Association.

A 15-year-old La Vergne, Tennessee teen has been missing since last week, according to LPD Detective Bob Hayes.
