City of La Vergne. City offices will be closed Monday, September 6th in observance of Labor Day. City offices will reopen Tuesday, September, 7th at 8 AM.

Clogging Classes

Clogging class is offered at the Civic Auditorium on alternating Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30pm. Please call the Parks & Recreation office for the current dates at 793-3224. The class is open to all ages. Sharon Whitley is the instructor for this class.

Baton Twirling Classes

TN Twirlers Inc Baton is offering a 10 week class beginning Aug 24th on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:25pm at the Multi-Purpose Bldg. For more information please call the Parks & Recreation office at 793-3224.

Saturday, Aug. 21 is the deadline for those who wish to particiapate in a booth for Old Timers' Day 2010, to take place Sept. 18 at Veteran's Memorial Park in La Vergne. Those interested in a sales/craft or business (informational only) booth are asked to sign up on-line at www.lavergne.org. Organizers are no longer accepting food booth applications.

Howl at the Moon 5K set for Aug. 20

The annual Howl at the Moon 5K run will take place Friday, Aug. 20 at 8 p.m., beginning at Veteran's Memorial Park in La Vergne.
