Mr. Mark Moshea

City Administrator Mark Moshea assumed his position in March, 2001.
A 1977 graduate of Marquette University in Wisconsin – where he received a B.S. degree in Engineering – Moshea worked for engineering companies in the Nashville area.
In 1984, Moshea was named the City Engineer for the Town of Smyrna. He held that position for 10 years. In 1994 he was elected as the Register of Deeds for Rutherford County, Tennessee. He became the City Engineer for the City of La Vergne in 1999.
A Professional Engineer (Inactive) with the State of Tennessee, Moshea also serves as the treasurer for the Smyrna Lions Club, and is active in St Luke’s Catholic Church. He is a 1992 graduate of Leadership Rutherford and a2004 graduate of Leadership Middle Tennessee.
He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and presently is serving on the United Way Board of Directors.
He and wife Betty have two children Megan and Matthew.
