Director of Information Technology Matthew Appleton assumed his position
in February, 2007.
A graduate of Glencliff High School, Appleton attended Nashville State
Technical Community College (formerly Nashville State Technical Institute)
in the fields of computer information systems and computer technology.
He has more than 10 years hands-on experience in information technology,
including all stages of system efforts such as architecture, design,
testing, implementation, troubleshooting and support.
Prior to coming to La Vergne, he worked for Metropolitan Nashville Public
Schools, The Aerostructures Corp. and Nashville State Technical Community
College.
