La Vergne Parks and Recreation Director Robin Grubb brings extensive experience in parks and recreation, as well as working with seniors, to the job.
A native of Oak Ridge, the Austin Peay University graduate formerly worked with the City of Clarksville’s Parks and Recreation Department and was the assistant coordinator for the Tennessee Senior Games District Competition in that area.
As Parks and Recreation Director, Grubb not only works with the seniors at the Senior Citizens Center, she also oversees the facilitating of leagues and is in charge of summer city-sponsored recreational programs.
She is also working on short and long-term goals to improve the parks and recreation department and activities within La Vergne.
