The City Planner’s office is located at 5089 Murfreesboro Road.
The City Planner answers a number of questions, including those
about the City's zoning requirements, subdivision regulations,
and application processes. He reviews site plans for development,
rezoning requests, subdivision plats, variance requests, and
special exceptions for presentation to the
Planning Commission,
the Board of Zoning Appeals(BOZA),
and the Board of Mayor and Alderman.
Additionally, he updates the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision
Regulations, which can be found on the Codes
page. Grant Green has been the City Planner since June 2007.
