An experienced water utilities professional, Greg Skinner has been named Public Works Director for the City of La Vergne.
His background includes municipal wastewater treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, collections system operation and maintenance, and operations management experience in private-sector chemical manufacturing businesses with a global consumer products company.
Skinner holds a Grade IV Wastewater Operator license with the State of Tennessee, a B.S. in environmental science and technology from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
He is an active member of the following:
- the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)
- the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)
- the American Management Association (AMA)
