Mrs. Rutledge came to La Vergne in 1989 after serving 14 years with the Rutherford County Assessor of Property office.

She has completed courses with the University of Tennessee Center for Government Training.

She was trained in the field of appraisal and assessing property for tax purposes.

Mrs. Rutledge is a native of Stewart County, Tennessee. She has resided in La Vergne for 25 years with her husband John.

She has two children, Lori and John Mack Rutledge; and three grand children Olivia, Peyton and Karli.
