The tax rate is currently $0.50 per $100 of assessed value. The rate is set by the Board of Mayor and Alderman.

Assessment rates are as follows:
Residential Property - 25% of the appraised value per the Rutherford County Assessor's office.

Commericial Property - 40% of the appraised value per the Rutherford County Assessor's office.

Personal Property - 30% of the declared value.
